Our registered cowherd is comprised of about forty fullblood, full-Fleck cows combining the best of proven German Fleckvieh genetics and newer bloodlines out of Canada. We also employ embryo transfer and artificial insemination programs to bring the best genetics we can find into our herd on a regular basis.
Ruby Lane Farm is located in a central Texas town known as Caldwell, Texas where our cattle endure the range of extremes in Texas weather. We have been involved with Simmental cattle since the late ‘70s. Whether in the form of show heifers and steers, Simmental bulls on our commercial cows, production of Simbrahs, and now with a registered herd of full Fleckvieh Simmentals.
In all our years of involvement with the Simmental breed, we feel the timing is just right for Fleckvieh. Fleckvieh cattle are really the complete package and have so much to offer no matter your discipline!

i am looking to get back into Fleckvieh cattle. Due to family health issues, I sold out in early 2003, by private treaty. we had some good bred cattle. never sold one for big prices, but most sold for good prices. Still have some semen on some good old bulls. Would like to come look sometime, but my business keeps me busy. Hopefully in the next few weeks, it will work out.
